Club Membership options:

We have a range of membership options to suit, including:

Membership fees due must be paid before ANY shooting is allowed.

Membership fees consist of 2 distinct parts - those fees due to Regional and National affiliations, and those fees due to the club.  Club fees are used to acquire and maintain the equipment and hire of the facilities.

Full Member

Any person of 9 years or older who has been accepted as a member of the Club and has paid to the Club the prescribed Club, County, Regional and National affiliation fees for the year.

Affiliate/Associate Membership

Affiliate members are current members of Archery GB registered aged 9 years or older with their club and have paid to their Club the prescribed Club, County, Regional and National affiliation fees for the year and wish to shoot regularly at another club.  We are now offering Affiliate membership from 01/06/2020 to 30/09/21.  Price is 1/12th of the annual Fee/month and entitles affiliates to the same shooting fees rather than guest fees.  Affiliate fees are valid for Calendar months.

Seasonal Member

Any person of 9 years or older who has been accepted as a member of the Club and has paid to the Club the prescribed Club, County, Regional and National affiliation fees for the year, or half year.

This membership category allows for just Summer months membership (March - October) while our Indoor facilities are being developed.  Governing Body fees remain the same.  Please enquire as to Club Fees.

Occasional Archer

Any person 9 years of age, or older, who has been accepted as a member of the Club and who cannot shoot regularly but wishes to retain membership to Archery GB via a club rather than direct. They will pay the Club the prescribed Club, County, Regional and National affiliation fees for the year. In addition to this, these members will pay a nominal boss fee before or at each session they shoot.

Non Shooting Member

Any non‐shooting person who wishes to be associated with the Club, who has been accepted a member of the Club and has paid a nominal fee to the Club.

Disabled Archer

For some disabled archers it can be difficult to shoot regularly enough for the fee structure to be of value.  In order to help enable disabled archers to shoot we offer the following option.

Student Archer

Archers able to produce an NUS card will be entitled to a 50% reduction in club fees.

Guest shooting

Visitors wishing to shoot at the club must:

‘Returning Archers”

Former Archers who have not shot for a while and wish to join the club will be required to undertake a short competency test to ensure they have remained familiar with the Rules of Shooting and are able to shoot unsupervised.

Archers who in the opinion of the Coach do not meet these requirements will be required to attend a beginner’s course.

Own equipment being used will also be checked for any visible damage that could pose a risk to either the archer or other club members.  There will be a charge of £5
